Dear Dolphin Families,

We are thrilled to welcome you to the start of the swim season this week! We are hopeful the weather will start to cooperate! This Tuesday marks our first day of practice, and you should have received an email from Coach CJ with the details of your child’s practice group. The first week can feel a bit hectic as we help our swimmers get accustomed to the routine, so your understanding is appreciated.

What to Expect in Our First Week of Practice

• Arrival Time: Please plan to arrive 10-15 minutes before practice begins. Your child will line up with their practice group, and we will have signage out to guide you to the correct location.

• Pool Deck Guidelines: Please note that parents will not have access to the pool deck until 7:00 PM. We encourage you to sit and watch practice from the seating area, but we kindly ask that you refrain from asking coaches questions during this time and avoid lingering around the pool lanes. This will allow our coaches the opportunity to focus and work effectively with our swimmers.

• Dress for the Weather: With cooler temperatures expected, please ensure your child has warm clothing or a robe for after practice to stay comfortable.

• Practice Attendance: Our practice schedule will continue rain or shine unless cancelled by PRCS. Should a cancellation occur, we will inform you via email.

• We will also have our swimsuit vendor, Sport Fair, at practice on Tuesday from 6:30 PM to 8 PM for swimsuit try-ons. Swimmers must be dry (prior to their practice) to try on a suit.

- Water bottle

- Swim cap (optional)

Important Upcoming Events:

• Time Trials: Mark your calendars for June 6th! To ensure your child participates, please register on our website. This meet is a great opportunity for our swimmers to race and obtain their first season times, and it serves as an excellent introduction for our new swimmers to the meet experience.
• Kick-Off Party: Join us later the same evening for our kick-off party! We would love for you to RSVP for this fun event on our website.
