Good evening Dolphins!

For the upcoming Lovettsville Dolphins swim season (2025) we are looking for interested candidates for several Board positions that are either open or have expiring two-year terms. Below are open positions. Serving on the Board is a great way to help the team and ensure that all swimmers have a great experience.

VP:

Shall act in the absence of the President. The Vice President shall perform the duties of the President, and when so acting shall have all the powers of and be subject to all the restrictions upon the President. Assist in the communication, coordination, and planning of Meets both home and away. Assists in acting as liaison between the Dolphins and ODSL and other Team Board Members, including, but not limited to, overseeing and/or communication of meet schedules, rules/regulation, upholding Loudoun County Rules and safety precautions. Presents and supports League positions as directed by the President and Board of Directors of the League. Generally, performs all duties incident to the office of the Vice President and such other duties as from time to time.

Concessions:

Oversees all aspects of concessions. Maintains inventory and coordinates procurements with Treasurer. Sets prices for all concession menu items. Supervises operation of concession stand at Home Meets. Selects assistants and / or volunteers to act in their absence.

Volunteer Coordinator:

Responsibilities include managing or delegating all aspects of parent volunteer duties for all Dolphins attended Meets throughout the season. Will work as the main POC for the team to ensure we have full coverage of volunteer duties.
